Psychiatry with you in mind
I am a board-certified, adult psychiatrist in Century City, Los Angeles. My practice is focused on medication management and helping patients navigate the challenges of mood and anxiety disorders. I am especially effective in coordinating care with therapists, primary care doctors, and specialists. When you become my patient, I become your partner in mental health and a member of your comprehensive care team.
Areas of Expertise

Depression & Dysthymia
Although we all feel blue occasionally, sometimes feeling of sadness or depression can be pervasive, overwhelming, enduring and/or impair functioning.
Deciding when treatment is needed and weighing biological, psychological and social treatment options is not easy. I specialize in diagnosing and treating depression, dysthymia, and cyclothymia in adult men and women and helping provide information to help guide informed decision making regarding mental health.
Anxiety Disorders
While occasional anxiety can be normal and even adaptive, when anxiety permeates your whole life or is especially severe, it is time to get help. Anxiety disorders come in numerous forms, including:
- Generalized Anxiety Disorder
- Panic Disorder
- Social Anxiety Disorder
- Specific Phobias (e.g., fear of flying)
- Social Phobias & Agoraphobia
- Body Dyspmorphic Disorder
- Health/Illness Anxiety
Because anxiety is commonly misunderstood and the medications used to treat it are incredibly sensitive, it’s very important to have an experienced psychopharmacologist who knows how to ask the right questions. I am proud to be able to work with therapists to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
People with OCD typically suffer from recurrent, intrusive thoughts, often associated with compulsions that can be disruptive and/ or time consuming.
I have experience treating all types of OCD, including:
- Contamination OCD
- Symmetry OCD
- Post Partum OCD
- Scrupulosity/ Moral
- Relationship OCD
- Existential or Religious OCD
- Perfectionism, Hyper-responsibility OCD
- Sexual Orientation (HOCD)
- “Just Right” OCD
- Harm OCD
- Pedophile OCD
- Health Related OCD
Women’s Mental Health
Significant events like pregnancy, childbirth, fertility issue, or menopause often highlight how deeply hormones can affect psychological wellbeing.
Having undergone a Women’s Mental Health Fellowship at UCLA, I am especially equipped to help women at all stages of their lives find the connection between their reproductive systems and their mental health. I have specialty knowledge in treating depression and anxiety disorders during menstrual fluctuations, pregnancy, and breastfeeding and often work alongside Obstetricians/ Gynecologists to coordinate care.
